WordPress Plugin installation can be done in two Ways.

What are that:

#1 . Search and Install Plugins From Your Dashboard.
#2 . Install WordPress Plugin Manually.

Now, There are also two ways of second part #2 i.e Download the Plugin From Provider and Install it :
#2.1 . Install WordPress Plugin without FTP
#2.2 . Install WordPress Plugin via FTP
#2.3 . Install WordPress Plugin from cPanel

You should follow these Rules before Downloading and Installing a WordPress Plugin on your Blog.

#2. When was the Plugin Last Updated?
A plugin that gets updated often is a plugin that is less likely to die.Die in the Sense of Plugin and Their Code get Old, so you should install the latest Plugins.

#3. Very Important! Backup Your Data.

Do you Know that When your Data get Loss Or You Face an Error like “Error Establishing A Database Connection”?
No.(I also don’t know.)

So, that’s why we need to have Backups of Your Website.

After Following the Above rules, Let’s move on to our Topic.

Search and Install Plugins From Your Dashboard

This is the simplest process of Installing the WordPress Plugin on your Blog.

What you need to Do for Installing the Plugin From you Dashboard?

You just need to Follow the Given Steps which i am sharing with Pictures.

Step #1 . Login to Your WordPress Dashboard and then Navigate to Plugins >> Add New.

Step #2: Search for the Plugin.

Now Search for the Plugin Which You want To Install from the Search Box

Step #3: Install the Plugin.

After Pressing enter on the Search Box, You will get a list of your Searched Plugins. Now, Choose your Plugin and Click on the Install Now Button.

Step #4: Activate the Installed WordPress Plugin.
On the Next Page you Will See a Activate Plugin link.Click on that.

After Activating the Plugin, go to the Plugin Settings and do the Necessary settings which you would like.
Whenever we Install a plugin we do mistakes in their Settings, so please read the Plugin Documentation Before Installing the Plugin.

Download WordPress Plugin

You can Download plugin from WordPress Plugin or some other Websites,but I will show you How to Download and Install from WordPress Plugins.

Go to WordPress Plugins and Select your Plugin.
I am Choosing WP Statistics to show the Demo.
Step #1:Click on the Download Version X.X Button.

Install WordPress Plugin without FTP

You can Install WordPress Plugins without FTP that means You Install Download Plugin from External Sources like WordPress Plugins and Installing it in Your WordPress Website/Blog.
Step #1 : Download the WordPress Plugin
Step #2:Now, Go to your WordPress Dashboard and Navigate to Plugins >> Add New.

Step #3 : Click on Upload New button from you WordPress Dashboard.

Step #4 : Now, Select and Upload Your Plugin from you WordPress Dashboard.

Step #5 : Activate your Installed Plugin.

Install WordPress Plugin via FTP

Now in this section we will Install WordPress Plugin via FTP.You can do this using FileZilla.You need to Install and Connect to FileZilla.

Step #1: Download your WordPress Plugin.

Step #2: Now, Open FileZilla and Connect to your FTP Account.

Step #3: Navigate to /wp-contents/plugins/ Folder of your WordPress website.

Step #3: UnZip the Zipped WordPress Plugin in your Computer.

You can Use WinZip to UnZip the Zipped(Compressed) File to Access the UnCompressed Folder.

Step #4: Create a Folder ( e.g=> wp-statics) and Upload your UnZipped Plugin File to your created folder.

To Upload your File through FTP, Click Right Button of your Mouse and then Click on Upload Option and your File will be Uploaded to Current Navigated (e.g=>/wp-contents/plugins/wp-statics) Folder.

Step #5: Now Activate your Plugin From your WordPress Dashboard.

Login to Your WordPress Dashboard and Navigate to Plugins >> Installed Plugins and the Click on the Activate link from your Plugin.

You can also Install WordPress Plugins Directly From your cPanel.

Step #1: Download your WordPress Plugin.

Step #2: Login to Your cPanel Account.

Step #3: Click on File Manager from your cPanel.

If you are not Getting where is File Manager then Search for it in the Search Box.

Step #4: Navigate to your WordPress Installed Folder and then /wp-content/plugins/ .

Step #5: Click on Upload Buton From top of your File Manager.

Step #7: Click on Reload Button from File Manager.

Step #8: Select the Zipped File and Extract (UnCompress) it.
